Human-ghost love stories in traditional Chinese literature

Dr. Lam Hok-chung, Senior Instructor from the Department of Chinese and History at City University of Hong Kong, visited our school to deliver a lecture analyzing tales of human-ghost romance in traditional Chinese classical novels. In a relaxed and engaging manner, Dr. Lam explored the evolution of these human-ghost love stories in traditional Chinese literature, the gender dynamics underlying female ghosts and mortal men, and the socio-cultural implications of such narratives.
