Inter-house Mathematics competition

Form 2 and 3 students have participated in an “Inter-house Mathematics Competition" co-organized by the Red House and the Mathematics Department in the school hall on February 3.

Students played the game ‘Combine 24’ in which they have to demonstrate their sensitivity to numbers as well as their skills and proficiency in problem solving and mathematical operations. Both students on the stage and in the audience were free to answer questions to win points for their own house. With the assistance of the House advisors and mathematics teachers, students were able to enjoy an exciting afternoon and the competition ended in a lot of joy and fun.

This competition has helped to enhance students’ interest in learning mathematics outside the classroom.
