Date: 05/09/2026

On September 5, 2026, our teachers and students attended a cultural event jointly organized by the Hong Kong Public Libraries, Leisure and Cultural Services Department and the Hok Hoi Library in association with United College, The Chinese University of Hong Kong. The lecture, titled ‘Survival Skills and Anti-Scam Guide for Ancient Heroes’, used a lively and humorous approach to analyze the livelihoods and anti-scam wisdom of ancient heroes through classical texts, making traditional culture engaging and fun. In addition, before the lecture, participants attended an introduction to the history of the Hok Hoi Library, viewed special collections of ancient books, and took a guided tour of the Hong Kong Central Library. Combining historical insights with an on-site tour, this activity deepened everyone’s understanding of Chinese culture and ignited their passion for its preservation.
