Our Student Triumphs with Gold Award at the "2026 Geneva International Youth Innovation and Invention Challenge"
Date: 04/11/2026
We are thrilled to announce that Wong Yuen-ching (Class 4B) has won the Gold Award at the "2026 Geneva International Youth Innovation and Invention Challenge," organized by the Asia-Pacific Children and Youth Talent Association, thanks to her outstanding innovative thinking and stellar performance!
This prestigious competition set an exceptionally high bar: contestants were required to independently develop software or an artificial intelligence (AI) platform, supported by a video presentation and a live demonstration of their system. The distinguished judging panel comprised association advisors, higher education representatives, school management representatives, and seasoned industry experts. Winning top honors amidst a competitive field of elite participants stands as a strong testament to Wong’s exceptional talent in technological innovation.
Reflection from Wong Yuen-ching:
"My project is titled 'DSE Score Star Rail'—an AI-powered DSE data and learning analytics platform designed to deliver a precise and efficient study experience for candidates. The system combines target-setting countdowns, mock exam performance radar charts, and knowledge-point heatmap diagnostics to help students move away from mindless practice drills. It also integrates AI photo-based problem solving, JUPAS target gap tracking, and administrator data export features to help test-takers clearly identify their blind spots.
What started as a simple desire to build a useful study tool turned into an unexpected honor and validation of my practical work! I am deeply grateful for my teachers' guidance, and this recognition will be a huge motivation for me to keep moving forward!"
